About Busy Beaver
Created in the wake of Hurricane Rita, after a volunteer mission to help the community, Busy Beaver continues to lead efforts for storm clean up.
Our Story
Busy Beaver Stump Grinding was birthed in October 2005, as a result of the owner volunteering with a group of men from his church to go to Beaumont, TX in in the wake of Hurricane Rita. They formed a chainsaw gang that spent a week there cutting up trees that had fallen on houses and cars of the elderly and others that had no one to help them.
During that time, the owner noticed that there were thousands of stumps left behind. He did some research and two weeks later he came back with a new stump grinding machine and went to work. Busy Beaver spent the next eight months in the Beaumont area grinding stumps and never looked back! We work with various types of individuals and companies.

We do not haul off any of the mulch. Some people choose to use it in their beds or have their lawn company haul it off.
Yes! We prefer to give the initial estimate over the phone, text or email. This will be based on information you provide. If you decide to proceed, we will set an appointment to do the work. Once we see the actual job and what it entails, we will let you know if initial estimate will work or an adjustment needs to be made.
